Well, I would be 13w4d according to my first sonogram and would be 14w1d if based on my second sonogram.

Yes, I’ve been to my NT scan and the baby is doing great. Nuchal measurement was totally normal. I am just waiting for the combined blood work results to come back, which should be sometime this week or early next week. I was so happy to see my little one. You could see his/her cute profile, arms, and legs. They also scanned the kidney and all was well.

The only concern they presented to me on that day was a large pelvic cyst. It was about 10cm. Dr. White told me to give it some more time since it still may go away itself. She did warn me about possible torsion. She told me later upon my phone inquiry that the chance of that happening is less than 1%. My OB/GYN then set up an appointment with another specialist to have an u/s with Doppler done on me this Thursday to check the blood flow and what kind of cyst it is. The nurse told me over the phone that no matter what my baby will be just fine and they won’t do anything major during the pregnancy, if one is needed. I also discussed with two other doctors I know and they both agreed with my doctor’s approach.

In the regular prenatal appt. yesterday, I once again asked about the cyst. The NP told me that “as far as she knows” my cyst don’t seem to directly connect to either of my ovaries. She wouldn’t give my any more specific answers and said they will know more after the sonogram on Thursday. So all I can do it wait and pray at this point. I pray everything will be just fine and the cyst will disappear soon.

Physically, I’ve felt gaining some energy back gradually. The nausea hasn’t been around too often as well, only once or twice a day. When I am lucky, I actually feel pretty good all day. My appetite is slowly coming back as well. I’ve only gained about 2 lbs so far so I hope I can start eating well soon.

Last Saturday, DH actually told me I looked pregnant. I was so happy and excited about it. I love having a bump!!! I also noticed that I have linea nigra already. It runs above my naval, which means a boy according to old wives tale. We’ll find out in 27 days!!!
