16w2d!!!!
by Photobug Mom ~ March 1st, 2006. Filed under: pregnancy #1.Basing on last u/s measurement, I should be around 16w2d today!! Less than two weeks we’ll get to see our little one again. This time we are going to bring a video tape with us and hopefully we’ll find out if it’s a boy or a girl. I dreamed once that it’s a boy but who knows. I asked DH what he thinks right now (he thought it’s a girl in the beginning), he said he almost felt it’s a boy now.
Can’t wait for our BIG u/s and seeing our little one moving around and looking healthy.
The other thing I am praying everyday is my cyst to go away. At my last specialist visit, my cyst was still about 11*9, the same as before. The doctor said his only concern was the size of it but not what’s in the cyst because it didn’t look cancerous to him. My OB/GYN agreed and we’re going to check it again at my BIG u/s. I am keeping my fingers crossed and keeping it in my prayer everyday that it would decrease its size, or even better, disappear. We are also going to talk about how the cyst would affect our choices of delivery. We don’t want C-section if we can but then we may risk the ovaries being twisted after the delivery. Removing the cyst during the 2nd trimester is another option. God bless us everything works out fine.
Some people in my buddy group on FF already felt the baby moving. I feel so jealous. I am still waiting. They say you the first time moms usually don’t feel the fetal movement until around 20th week. I am so looking forward to it. It will be so reassuring and exciting!!!
My appetite has been getting better and people at work probably think I eat all day. I feel hungry about every 2-3 hours. I’ve got some craving too. Noodle soup, especially hot and hour kind like the Korean kimchi soup, juicy fruits, dry noodle snacks, duck wings. I can eat these things all day long.
The other thing happening right now is our purchase of a new house. It’s a beautiful house with 1st floor chimney, 2nd floor pocket door and French room. It also has several big windows and the house is thus very sunny. There are some works needed to be done but I am so looking forward to moving in there and waiting for our precious little one to come and join us.
