17weeks pregnant!!! A boy or a girl?

6 more days and it will be our BIG ultrasound. So excited and so nervous. Hoping the baby is doing great and everything is on track; hoping my cyst is smaller or gone completely. Praying for a blessing!!
Last weekend, DH put his hand on my belly for a few minutes without a word. When he was done, he announced “It’s a girl. She is communicating with me, I can feel it.” I wonder how he did it because I haven’t had any strong intuition on whether it’s a girl or a boy. I don’t have any strong preference but do sometimes think it would be nice to have a boy before having a girl so she will have someone to protect her. But I will be willing to go with the flow. After all, the most important thing is baby’s wellness.
Last night, I asked DH again “so you think it’s a girl?” He said, “I am not really sure now.” O_o He said boys can carry on the family name but he would worry his son won’t be close to him or not good looking enough. -_-
Anyway, next Monday can’t come quick enough!!!!!! God bless us and our little one!!!
