Journey with You

Just want to write about this nice day we had last Sunday. The weather was finally much warmer and sunny. We decided to take a one and half hour drive down to this place called Moss Lake. It’s a beautiful lake with bog; not well-known but that’s why we love it. It has the untouched beauty.

Cyrus was sleeping during the drive so he was all energetic and happy the whole time we were there. We saw beautiful trees, cat fish, geese, and frog eggs. It’s so good to be near the nature and I know Cyrus loved it too. There was a sign reminding people only feed fish a few “slices” of bread per vehicle but we saw people actually feeding a few “bags” per vehicle. Too bad!! We even saw dog’s foot prints on the bog even though the sign says “no walk on the bog.” Tssk…

Before we left for home, I had DH took some pictures of me and Cyrus since I am usually the one taking the picture. I need some evidence to show Cyrus “Mommy was there too!”

We went to a Poto Ricon restaurant for dinner on the way back. Cyrus was being really good there too. We had a peaceful and delicious dinner. What a nice day!

Here are some pictures to share. But before that, I need to make notes that Cyrus has been pulling himself up to the sitting position from tummy position. He also, for the first time, got out of the bed (the single bed I am sleeping in) by moving backwards and landing on his feet first. He couldn’t stand steady of course thus banged his head on the crib that’s behind him. He didn’t cry so I assumed he was okay. I was really impressed by this action though. He is moving faster and faster and I should really be paying much closer attention.
