Journey with You

Just when I thought I was getting my life back finally (until next tax season comes), Cyrus started having high fever. What’s funny was that I just read on a mom’s blog about her daughter got roseola and had fever for a few days. Cyrus is at the age of being effected by the virus.

Thank goodness DH could leave work early and took him to the doctor’s office. It was the day before the tax season was over and I couldn’t leave work early. They didn’t see our regular doctor. DH told me Dr. L was cold and didn’t give him much information. He said it’s probably roseola but we won’t know until a few days later. He told us to give Cyrus Motrin every six hours. DH didn’t feel good about Dr. L so I had to call Dr. S to go over everything again.

Cyrus was very crabby all week. He didn’t eat much either. Good thing was that his fever seemed to finally go away today. We started to worry what if it’s not roseola. Dr. S said they will need to do some tests if his fever didn’t go away by Sunday. We’re keeping our fingers crossed. Hopefully it’s as simple as roseola.

The weather is warming up finally. I went to shop for Cyrus’ summer PJs yesterday. I am quite annoyed by the fact that there are always more cute girl clothes. I am so tired of those sports/cars theme for boys. It’s getting harder and harder to find outfits that I like for Cyrus. Sometimes brand names have better selections but they are simply too pricey!

Maybe I should check out e-bay again!
